The Beauty Pro Institute Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 2024
Last Updated: September 13,2026

Welcome to The Beauty Pro Institute (“Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, enrollment in our educational programs, and participation in our training courses.

By accessing our website, submitting an enrollment form, purchasing a course, or participating in any Academy training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or enroll in our programs.

TRAINING & EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE

Our Academy provides educational and professional development training for eligible professionals.

Training may include classroom instruction, demonstrations, hands-on practice, treatment protocols, safety education, clinical concepts, and other educational materials depending on the program selected.

Our courses are intended for education and professional development and are not a substitute for a professional license, medical education, legal advice, or independent clinical judgment.

Completion of a training course does not guarantee employment, income, business success, licensure, certification by a governmental agency, or authorization to perform any particular service.

ELIGIBILITY & PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE

Students are responsible for ensuring that they meet all eligibility requirements for the course in which they enroll.

Certain courses may require a valid professional license, certification, education, experience, or other qualifications.

Students are solely responsible for maintaining any licenses, registrations, certifications, permits, or credentials required to legally perform services after completing training.

The Academy does not guarantee that a particular license or credential authorizes a student to perform a specific treatment.

Scope-of-practice requirements may vary by state, profession, treatment, device, facility, and other circumstances. Students are responsible for verifying applicable laws and regulations with the appropriate licensing or regulatory authority.

REGISTRATION & ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is not considered confirmed until the Academy has received the required registration information and payment or deposit.

The Academy reserves the right to decline or cancel enrollment when a student does not meet the prerequisites or requirements of a particular course.

Students must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in cancellation of enrollment without refund.

PAYMENTS

Course pricing is listed on the Academy’s website, enrollment materials, or communicated directly to the student.

Unless otherwise stated, payment is required according to the payment terms established at enrollment.

A deposit or payment may be required to reserve a student’s training date or seat.

Students are responsible for reviewing all pricing, payment, deposit, and financing terms before completing registration.

Failure to make required payments may result in cancellation of enrollment and/or forfeiture of the student’s reserved training date.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Because training seats, instructors, models, supplies, and facilities may be reserved specifically for each student, deposits and payments may be subject to restrictions.

The Academy will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability for a specific future date.

ACADEMY CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING

The Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a training program due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

If the Academy cancels or reschedules a training, students will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and provided with applicable options.

The Academy is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, transportation, lost wages, or other costs incurred by a student in connection with a canceled or rescheduled training.

TRAINING CERTIFICATES

Students who successfully complete the applicable requirements of their training program may receive a certificate of completion.

A certificate of completion confirms participation in and/or completion of the Academy’s educational program.

A certificate does not constitute a government-issued license, medical license, professional license, board certification, or authorization to perform a procedure.

Students remain responsible for determining whether they are legally permitted to perform any service covered during training.

HANDS-ON TRAINING & MODELS

Certain courses may include hands-on training using live models.

Students participating in hands-on training must follow all Academy safety protocols, instructor directions, model screening requirements, informed-consent procedures, sanitation standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

The Academy may refuse participation in a hands-on procedure when an instructor determines that it is inappropriate or unsafe.

Students may be required to provide their own models depending on the course.

The Academy does not guarantee model availability unless specifically stated in writing as part of the course enrollment.

SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

The Academy maintains the right to remove a student from training without refund if the student:

Safety is the Academy’s highest priority.

MEDICAL & CLINICAL DISCLAIMER

Training involving aesthetic procedures may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to bruising, swelling, bleeding, infection, allergic or adverse reactions, scarring, burns, pigmentation changes, tissue injury, vascular complications, and other complications depending on the procedure.

Students are responsible for obtaining appropriate education, maintaining appropriate credentials, following applicable laws, using appropriate clinical judgment, obtaining informed consent, performing appropriate screening, and following manufacturer and professional guidelines where applicable.

The Academy does not provide medical diagnosis or individualized medical treatment to students through its educational programs.

Students should seek appropriate professional medical or legal advice when necessary.

NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

The Academy does not guarantee any particular clinical, financial, professional, business, employment, or income-related outcome from participation in its training programs.

Results from aesthetic procedures may vary based on numerous factors, including practitioner skill, patient characteristics, treatment selection, technique, products, equipment, and individual healing.

All Academy materials, including but not limited to:
